YOU DESERVE TO DIE !!!! – a wonderful death being eaten by eagles of love at a ripe old age because of this joyously long comic! 🙂 You have too much time on ur hands, because this comic has set you up for life – please never commit suicide.
Comment by andrew & amala — April 23, 2009 @ 4:28 pm
Don’t worry, I’ll die someday! If you read through this whole page in one sitting you probably wish YOU were dead right now! Thanks very much for the comment.
Comment by prometheuscomic — April 23, 2009 @ 7:16 pm
I have the mind of an eagle; I read every prometheus comic and I still don’t feel miserable! The funniest one was the one where Sob held up the sign that said throw eggs and said “I win”. By the way, it took me 34 minutes and 13 seconds to read the entire thing.
P.S. You should name Uncaring Sob’s daughter; the one who shrank prometheus. I’d perfer “Ophelia” as the name.
Comment by tungstenisgood — June 12, 2009 @ 5:57 pm
OMG it is sooooo epic! I only found this page when I was reading about Greek myths online! So technically, if OMG means oh my god, I should have said OMGs ( oh my gods!) By the way, is the dude with winged sandals Hermes? And the eagle DOES look a lot like a duck!
Comment by Anonymous — July 26, 2012 @ 6:03 pm
34 min. 13 sec. beat that!
Comment by tungstenisgood — June 12, 2009 @ 5:58 pm
Congratulations! BTW The woman who tries to help Prometheus isn’t S.O.B.’s daughter (as far as I know) If you want to call her Ophelia, be my guest!
Comment by prometheuscomic — June 12, 2009 @ 6:57 pm
Ophelia ISN’T EVEN…
FAIL
Comment by tungstenisgood — August 12, 2009 @ 3:19 am

Comment by prometheuscomic — April 30, 2012 @ 10:07 am
Well, it was a good read, good laugh and it’s nice to see the poor guy finally set free.
You know you totally deserved that, right?
Once again, thanks for wasting couple of hours of my time. I’m sure I could spend them more productively, but where would the fun in that be? 🙂
Comment by Anonymous — May 8, 2012 @ 4:40 pm
If reading it is a waste of time, how about all those hours I spent MAKING it??
Comment by prometheuscomic — May 9, 2012 @ 2:41 pm
If you put just a single smile on a single person’s face, it’s not a total waste of time.
I am confident you managed as much.

[…] Based on the mythological story, the comic is mostly a dialog between Prometheus and the Eagle that eats his liver every day. Though the comic has been discontinued, you can read through all the comics in one page here. […]

It is what it is. Only shame is it’s not numbered, dated or labeled in any way. So I’ve had to leave it open in my browser for days on end.
Comment by sithigh — June 7, 2012 @ 11:35 pm
Each strip has a tiny date on it. Also, you can browse through the archives on the right side of the page by months…
But I agree that it is what it is!
Comment by prometheuscomic — June 14, 2012 @ 7:45 pm

hello! i’ve been reading your comics for a few weeks and it’s sad to see you quit doing it. just so you know, i’ve used few comics as my presentation in mythology class. it’s very good stuff and i can’t wait to share it to my classmates. from now i will keep reading it if i have time. please notify me if you decide to continue on your work again! cheers!

*Smashes her “Free Prometheus!” sign on prometheuscomic’s head and trotts off to find herself sth to eat* – having forgotten to do so for quite a long time while reading more or less the same 10 Jokes all over again to the end of the page because I could not stop (didn’t beat 34 minutes!). and after having forced my whole family to visit here. (The first conjugal visit strip nearly threw me from my chair…)
This is an absolutely awesome piece of work! I really hope you’ll find some other things to do in the future ((i.e. to draw more of this stuf!) All the best wishes from Germany to you and many thanks for this gemstone!
